About GiM Operations Ltd

The company behind free venue tools and aggregate operational intelligence.

GiM Operations Ltd builds practical, edge-native tools for hospitality teams first, then explores whether aggregate operational signals can help suppliers and partners understand legacy hospitality more clearly.

Built for the hospitality estate that actually exists

GiM Operations Ltd builds for the hospitality estate that actually exists: mixed EPOS setups, ageing back-office PCs, receipt printers, patchy Wi-Fi, staff workarounds, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, and operational knowledge trapped in people’s heads.

GiM Operations is shaped by 20+ years inside hospitality operations, including senior venue and general management roles.

That operator background matters because the most useful venue signals rarely appear in clean dashboards first. They appear in staff habits, service pressure, workarounds, repeated questions, missed specs, substitution patterns, and the small operational frictions that experienced operators learn to spot quickly.

We do not assume venues want another expensive platform, another tablet, or another dashboard that only works in a perfect demo environment. Our tools are designed to be lightweight, edge-native, privacy-conscious, and useful before deep integration.

That legacy reality is not a weakness in the market. It is the reason GiM exists.

Why this matters to suppliers

Suppliers usually see the clean end result: orders, invoices, account notes, and retrospective reports.

GiM Operations is interested in the layer before that: what staff look up, forget, substitute, repeat, and actually use during service. That pre-order signal is where brand recall, training gaps, menu execution, and substitution risk start to become visible.

GiM exists to turn those real-world patterns into lightweight tools for venues and anonymised, privacy-conscious intelligence for partners.

ABV Always Bring Value. Value in every pour. Impact in every stay.

Company motto

ABV: Always Bring Value.

In hospitality, ABV usually means alcohol by volume. For GiM Operations, ABV also means Always Bring Value.

That means a tool should be useful before it is commercial. It should save time, reduce friction, improve clarity, or create a fairer exchange between venues and partners.

The test is simple: if it does not help an operator, it has not earned the right to become a signal.

How the ethos shows up

Value before signal. Utility before intelligence.

01

Free venue utility first

GiM begins with lightweight tools that help hospitality teams do real work on the systems they already have.

02

Partner intelligence second

Supplier-side insight should come from aggregate operational patterns, not from making venues manage another platform.

03

Less data by design

ABV supports The Void: data that is not needed for a defined signal should not be collected, stored, or sold.
